| The last and best of the Vigilantes of Love before Mallonee discontinued making music under the VOL moniker in 2001. Many critics called this VOL's "Sgt. Pepper's." It is hooky, power-pop, jangle-y...touches of psychedelia lurk at every corner. Check out the raw and radio friendly, "Puttin' Out Fires With Gasoline," a song about the band's love for 7 years of touring the UK. | Review: Bill spins one heck of a tune. intelligent lyrics and great acoustic guitar make each song a jewel in it's own right. My only complaint is recordings don't do him justice. great as he is on disc. a live venue shows bill's true talent. you have to see him live! |
